Tasteful Textiles for a Cozy Fall Home

There’s a crisp chill in the air, so it’s time to have a little fun with all things soft and cozy! After a quick trip to the store, I was able to warm up my family room, dining room and bedroom. With just a few simple additions, you can make every room in your house feel just as comfortable.

Family Room
This room is pretty cozy to begin with, but the multi-colored throw and furry pillows scream “naptime” (at least to the puppy).

Add a candle, and you’ve got a cozy place to hang out.

Dining Room
I tend to be a bit of a minimalist in the dining room (since I’m trying to save room for food), but I loved this soft stuffed gourd.

The new placemats speak volumes, and plaid is so in-vogue right now.

Because I love accessories that (literally) speak to me, I had a little fun with the hutch.

It feels like a wordy hug.

Bedroom
This is one of my favorite rooms. New sheets, shams and a pup blanket warmed it up quickly.

Again, the talking textiles! The first is “sweet.”

And the second bed is “dreams.”

Because the dog thinks this is her room (they all are, actually), she scored a soft new blanket for her bed.

While I’m not a fan of New England cold, I do appreciate the excuse to swap out some accessories and linens for a cozier atmosphere at home. Have you updated your textiles yet? Better get on it before winter arrives.
